Based in Newport Beach, California, RM Dalton is a general contractor, consultant and top-notch developer of large industrial, commercial and retail properties.
CONCERN FOR CONSISTENCY
RM Dalton approached Album with a common concern shared among established small businesses. Their brand was not consistently represented in their marketing materials. In addition, the company logo was outdated and difficult to read, especially on signs at the construction sites – their primary advertising and brand awareness tool.
PLAN AND REBRAND
Blue plan, brand plan, whatever you call it, the concept is the same. To be effective in any endeavor, you have to define your strategy. After collaborating with RM Dalton to define their brand strategy (through Brand Tuning), Album developed a logo and brand style guide that better represented their brand.

BUILDING BLOCKS
The new brand identity accomplished the goals of producing a simple, strong logo with heavy emphasis on the RM Dalton name. A custom type arrangement and a subtle yet distinguishable 3D element bring the logo uniqueness, despite its simplicity. With a strong brand identity as a foundation, Album designed new business cards, letterhead and custom envelopes, then reorganized and rebuilt www.rmdalton.com.
